BLACK AND WHITE GAMES CONCLUDE SPRING DRILLS

May 18th- The Permian Panthers concluded spring drills with the annual Black and White Spring Game at Ratliff Stadium. Led by the hard running of Greg George and an opportunistic defense, the Black team pounded out a 41-10 victory over the White. George rambled for 197 yards and three TDs to lead the offense. Meanwhile, the Black defense was busy creating turnovers. Jamar Miles and Tra Fey each forced fumbles, while Austin Reynolds and Scotty Satterwhite grabbed interceptions. Special teams played a role for the Black squad as well, as Craig Wesson scooped up a blocked punt and returned it for six points. Senior QB Landry Serrano ran for one touchdown, and hooked up with Kris Miller for a long touchdown pass. For Team White, Tommey Morris scored on a two yard run. On May 17th, Andrew Perez led the way as the Black defeated the White 22-14 in the JV game.
